3 Hours Trekking

The Simple highlight to do short trekking for explore the Gunung Leuser National Park is a walks entrance to the jungle area in Bukit Lawang, and in this tours also possibility to came to the old feeding area (Now-Viewing Centre), where you have chance to see a semi wild orangutans. It’s was ex-captive and now all of the orangutans in Bukit Lawang release to be wild. We will happy to showing you the ex-feeding patform area which is still highly chance to see Orangutans. During the three-hours jungle trekking through a jungle, you may see a some kind of Monkey such as Thomas leaf-monkey, Long tail-maccaque, White handed-gibbon and many beautifull birds and butterfly. The three- hours junge trekking is design for famillies with children who are not in good condition and people who don’t  like so much exercise and  for who don’t have time for full day to spare in Bukit Lawang. We still should see Sumatran Orangutans. Althought there is never any guarantee but we always got  chance to see other animal also the medicinal plants you will see in the forest.

DAY 1 : KUALANAMU AIRPORT / MEDAN - BUKIT LAWANG
Today you arrive in Kualanamu Airport Medan, than you drive about 3 hours to Bukit Lawang, a small tourist village on the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park. Bukit Lawang is the most popular places  and the easier accessible to entrance the Park. The park is one of largest  National Park straddles border in two province, containing over 800.000 ha of virgin rainforest and Home of Orangutan, Tiger, Elephant, Gibbon and etc:

DAY 2 : BUKIT LAWANG - 3 Hours Jungle Trekking
After breakfast, you will start a jungle trekking  to explore the national park. You will follow 3 -4 hours jungle walk searching Sumatran Orangutan and other  tropical flora and fauna. Its not a flat walk, some ups and downs, You have big chance to to see gibbons, thomas leaf monkey, longtail and pigtail macaque, squirrels, Great Argust and Hornbills. A wild orangutan might cross your away. Your Guide will explain you many thing about the rainforest, will showing you a many different kind of plants and flowers. Jungle Trek and End by Walking back to Accommodation, The rest of the day is free leisure.
